OUR STORY
Rosemere is not just a venue — it is a promise fulfilled across generations.
For more than 36 years, our mother Jenna was deeply connected to the White River region. What began as a simple holiday home on Lake Longmere Estate grew into something far more meaningful: a place of refuge, renewal and deep connection with nature.
From her very first days here, Jenna felt there was something undeniably special about this land — whether it was the richness of its ancient soil, the rays of timeless sunlight, or the deep stillness of the lake itself. White River became her anchor, her sanctuary and the place where she raised her daughters with lessons rooted in nature’s wisdom.
On countless boat rides across the lake, Jenna would look toward an untouched stretch of land and speak of a promise:
*"One day, I will be the custodian of that land—for those who come after me."*
That promise became Rosemere. For years, our family has worked gently with the land— removing invasive trees, restoring indigenous flora, and shaping it into a living, breathing ecosystem. At its heart sits a simple farmhouse, framed by stables and wild grasses, where birdsong and the rhythm of the earth flow into daily life.
Jenna passed away in May 2025, but her spirit is felt in every corner of Rosemere. The land holds her vision, her teachings and her love for this place. Today, as her daughters, we carry that vision forward.
Rosemere is our family’s legacy, and we now open it to you - not as a commercial venue, but as an invitation.

From the beginning, it was clear that we shared the same philosophy: to honour the land, to curate authentic and meaningful gatherings and to preserve the soul of this place whilst sharing it with others.
